Frequently asked questions
Not much! We handle the design, printing, and logistics. All we need from you is to share some ready-made messaging with your alumni. You’ll be the face of the project while we take care of the rest.
This can vary widely depending on the size of your alumni network and the level of participation. The more alumni who get involved, the more your chapter will earn. You can expect to receive $40-$60 from each book sold, which varies based on page count and total sales. The more books sold, the bigger the printing discount and those savings get passed on to you.
The price of an Alumni Legacy Book typically ranges between $85 and $135, depending on the number of pages. We work to ensure the books are high-quality keepsakes that alumni will treasure, while keeping the cost reasonable. Each purchase directly supports your chapter and its future initiatives. Alumni will receive full pricing details when the book is ready for pre-order.
We provide proven strategies and promotional materials to help you engage your alumni effectively. If participation is still lower than expected, our $1,000 Profit Promise ensures your chapter will still come out ahead.
Yes! We’ll give your chapter 3 free copies as a thank-you for working with us. Chapter members can also purchase additional copies at the wholesale price.
Once you’ve paid the project initiation fee, we’ll guide you through the alumni engagement phase, which lasts about 4 weeks. After that, we design, print, and ship the books within 2-4 weeks. The entire process usually takes 6-8 weeks from start to finish. With extra large books, there may be an addition 1-2 weeks to get the design completed.
There’s a one-time $779 project initiation fee that covers all our design, editing, and project management services. Don’t worry—you’re guaranteed to make this money back and more. If your chapter doesn’t make at least $1,000 in profit, we’ll pay the difference.
We know we’re in a digital age where everything is online, but that’s exactly why we focus on physical books. These Alumni Legacy Books are meant to be keepsakes—something you can hold, display on a bookshelf, or flip through years later. Digital files tend to get lost or forgotten, but a high-quality printed book is timeless.
Unfortunately, no. While we know this is a great and easy way to fundraise for your chapter, we need to let alumni live between editions. Life doesn’t always change that much from year to year post graduation. This is why we limit each chapter to once every two years and recommend no more than once every three years.
